  30. I think TeX today should be aimed at the "common man"
  31. not the guru, or System Manager.
  32. I doubt if 1 in 10 tex installers ever uses the debugger.
  33. (It's years since I had a runtime error with TeX -- and that was on a Mac.)
  34. If I'm right, the default should be "-O",
  35. and those who know about debugging will surely know they have to change to "-g".
